Nuon is never coming out. While it is very easy to see where this rumor came from, it is in fact false. Samsung, Motroloa, and Toshiba have all signed up to release Nuon enabled DVD palyers. Samsung has a Nuon enabled system scheduled for Spring 2000.

It's not powerfull. This is true unfortunatly. It is the least powerfull of the Next Gen technology. Although, while it is the least powerfull next gen system, it is nearly as powerfull as the Dreamcast. It even tops Dreamcast in some aspects.

 It is not a game system. This one puzzles me. Somebody told me that Nuon isn't a system, but a technology, such as 3DO was. I suppose this is true. However, the technology is capable of playing games. Many people don't know that Sega tried going this route with the Saturn but only two (less than Nuon) companies signed up to manufacture a 3rd party Saturn system.

It has nothing but edutainment software. Not true. It has a wide range of games, from Iron Soldier to aMaze. From Tempest 3000 to Merlin Karting. From pool to bowling. There is definatly something for everybody. Look at the list of software titles for yourself on our main page.
